Cause Description:
Monmouth College Water Polo is a Division III Club Sport in Monmouth, Illinois. The team is just four years old, yet they have won the Heartland Division Championship the last four years. Their team success has also earned them a spot in the Divison III National playoffs for the last four years, with second place National finishes for the last two years. Club sports aren’t funded by colleges, so they are coached by one of the players and all of the team expenses (including equipment, food, travel and lodging) are funded by player dues and club fundraising. The players also provide their own vehicles for transportation while arranging to sleep in church basements to save money when traveling to tournaments held at other schools. The Monmouth College Water Polo Club Water polo can use your support to help raise funds for their team activities and enable their pursuit of a first place national title.
