Cancer is the #1 disease killer of children today. CCCF's mission is to educate, support, serve, and advocate for children with cancer, their families, childhood cancer survivors, and those who care for them. CCCF sponsors a national network of support groups, offers publications, and provides information and referrals through a 24-hour tollfree message line (1-800-366-2223). Established in 1970 by parents whose children were being treated for cancer, CCCF is now a 501(c)(3) organization with affiliated offices around the country, and branches around the world.
