Melrose Humane Society is dedicated to the care, rehabilitation and adoption of cats that are injured, abandoned, stray or unwanted. We help educate local school children on the proper care of animals. We participate in trap/neuter/release programs locally. We help people to find and use low-cost spay/neuter programs. We help elderly people to have a companion at reduced costs and give them the peace of mind knowing we will take the cat back should they have to be hospitalized, etc.
