Cause Description:
Activist Arizona is leading a seriously Leftist movement in Arizona intended for people who are knowledgeable (or want to become knowledgeable) about focal issues for our state, including immigration, education, health care, and workers' rights. We are a non-corporate-sponsored, truly progressive, and activist group of Arizona residents working for genuine and lasting improvements in our state's quality of life. Our members are pragmatic and objective, and are fully engaged in the projects they have chosen to lead. We are not a "point-and-click" progressive group; we are in the streets working towards our goals. This is a membership requirement for all of our projects. We are unaffiliated with any other political party in the state or the country, and our focus is solely on issues affecting Arizona residents and its environment. We reject all glad-handlers for corrupt, duopoly political parties, so you don't need to worry about working for yet one more front group deterring us from our ideals.
