Cause Description:
Finding Shelter is a no-kill animal rescue committed to the saving, rehabilitation, training and permanent placement of dogs and cats in need. A strong commitment to animals and the people in the community allows us the opportunity to assist and educate humans and save and protect animals. Our goal is to raise public awareness to the plight of animals and the beauty of adopting a homeless animal in need of forever loving care. The careful screening of all of our potential adopters allows the best match possible between animal and adopter. All of our animals are spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated and medically treated. We do not discriminate based on breed, age or health status of the animal. Our animals come from shelters that frequently euthanize for space, from owners who can no longer care for them or when an owner is terminally ill and needs the peace of mind to know their beloved pet will be safe and loved. We also accept and place companion animals who are unwanted, neglected and released from puppy mills and need a second chance at a full and happy life.
