As aspiring education major, this student is involved in student affairs, year-round extracurricular activities (color guard and winter guard) and strives to achieve the dean's list at her college. She held a part-time job for over two years to assist with her education expenses and was recently removed from the employee schedule (laid off). Her parents are unable to provide additional money for her expenses (they have 3 other children and are both self-employed). She desperately needs assistance, and although she has applied, has not received any scholarships. Her goals are to become a high school History teacher and a color-guard/winter-guard instructor.
