Southeastern Greyhound Club, Inc, operates Southeastern Greyhound Adoption, which places former racing greyhounds, who would otherwise be destroyed at the end of their careers, as pets in loving homes. SEGC also operates a pet therapy program with the dogs, visiting nursing homes, assisted-living centers, AIDS hospices and other organizations.
