RecycleForce LLC is a division of Workforce Inc., a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization providing job training and support services to help ex-offenders successfully re-enter civil society. As a viable business venture with a social purpose, RecycleForce creates transitional jobs for at-risk workers, with an emphasis on formerly incarcerated fathers. Participants benefit from an integrated array of training, housing, and rehabilitation services, with paid work as the organizing principle. After a six- month training period, participants move on to full- time employment in the community. In addition to creating job opportunities for ex-offenders, RecycleForce keeps tons of potentially hazardous electronic waste out of Indiana’s landfills. To date, more than 5 million lbs of e-waste has been processed through RecycleForce and kept out of Indiana’s landfills.
