Tole Friend's Memorybox Program continues the Memory Box Program which was established in 1999 by Tera Leigh and Marie Gemmil. Artists who join the program paint Memory Boxes, which are sent worldwide to Hospitals that have an Infant Bereavement Program. These Boxes are given to parents who suffer the loss of their child at an advanced level of pregnancy, at birth or during the first 6 months after the baby's birth.
