Friends of Animals, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that some animal loving citizens started in Junction City, Kansas in the fall of 2000. Our goals regarding homeless animals in the Junction City/Geary County Animal Shelter are to provide inexpensive or free spay and neuter programs, educate our youth and adults on the benefits of spay and neuter programs, find loving homes for adoptable shelter animals through shelter adoptions, ensure animals are humanely treated and animal cruelty laws are strictly enforced, and raise funds to ensure the success of the above programs.
