Founded in 1995, Champions of Caring has educated, sensitized and empowered over 10,000 middle and high school students in the greater Philadelphia area and now South Africa to become advocates for social justice and active, engaged citizens. Through school and community based programs that reduce prejudice and violence, promote caring and compassion, Champions of Caring teaches students the the skills to create projects that address local and global issues such as poverty, hunger, healthcare, education, self-esteem, the environment and literacy.
