Cause Description:
Due to a traumatic birth, Logan suffered from hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy (HIE), which is a fancy term for lack of oxygen to the brain. It is unknown to us just how long he was without oxygen. Nine months later, he was diagnosed with spastic quadriplegia cerebral palsy and will live with this condition for the rest of his life. Living with cerebral palsy is extremely costly. Through out Logan's lifetime, he will require alternative therapies whose costs are generally never covered by insurance, equipment of all sorts, and may under go certain surgeries to help better his quality of life.
