Cause Description:
Julie Legner Anderson suffered a cerebral hemorrhage on July 19, 2008, leaving her unconscious and in a coma for several weeks. We later found out this was caused by an arterio-venous malformation (AVM) that has probably been in Julie's brain since birth, but no one knew about it. She is now out of her coma and slowly recovering. Doctors predict she will need 24/7 care for 12-18 months. This site will help with additional therapy she requires, beyond what her insurance will pay for.
