Cause Description:
The Sisters of Notre Dame of Los Angeles are Catholic women, living a consecrated life and committed to proclaim God's goodness through education, evangelization, catechesis, social work and nursing. Current ministries are located in Southern California; Buseesa, Uganda, Rome, Italy; and the Ukraine. Donations through iGive will support the Retirement Fund (which underwrites the medical care and daily needs of the retired sisters, about $500 per sister per month); St. Julie's School in Buseesa, Uganda; the continuing education of the sisters, especially in spirituality; and support for sisters who minister to the church without compensation.
