Cause Description:
The Livingston Chapter of the Humane Society of Louisiana is a non-profit organization providing critically needed services to abused, neglected, and abandoned animals in a humane and compassionate manner. Our chapter relies 100% on donations to provide these services as well as fostering education and awareness programs in our communities. All funds raised in our community are used to care for and protect the animals in our community. We serve Livingston Parish by conducting animal cruelty investigations, animal rescues and rehabilitation, pet adoptions, and, when possible assistance with spay/neuter services. All of our rescued friends are fostered in homes and shelters where treatment, rehabilitation, and love are provided until a forever family can be found.
