Cause Description:
The California Conservatory of Dance (CCD), a progressive ballet and modern dance school in south Orange County, offers a range of classes and performance opportunities for both pre- professional and recreational ballet and modern dancers. Artistic Directors Melissa Bowman and Jennifer Backhaus combine their classical ballet and commercial dance experience in a flexible schedule that includes classical and modern technique, augmented with Pilates®, conditioning, lyrical dance, hip-hop, and tap. All ballet teachers are fully certified in the ABT® Training Curriculum. The CCD is housed in a 21,500 sq.ft. facility complete with five studios and an on-site gym. It is also the training center for two professional companies: American Legacy Dance Theatre and Backhausdance
