THE PURPOSE OF LIKITTIES IS TO RESCUE STRAY CATS AND KITTENS, FOSTER, SOCIALIZE, WHEN NECESSARY, AND THEN PLACE THEM INTO LOVING HOMES. THIS INCLUDES VET EXAMINATION, DE-FLEAING, DE-WORMING, SPAY/NEUTER AND VACCINATING EACH CAT OR KITTEN BEFORE PUTTING THEM UP FOR ADOPTION. We are a non-profit 501 (c)(3) corp. IN CASES WHERE THE CAT IS FERAL AND CANNOT BE SOCIALIZED, WE TRAP, NEUTER AND RELEASE, PROVIDING SHELTER WHEN NECESSARY AND ARRANGING FOR A CARE GIVER. IF THE CAT CANNOT BE RETURNED, WE RELEASE BACK TO A DIFFERENT COLONY. WE ALSO OFFER ADVICE, LOAN TRAPS AND TRY TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC WITH REGARD TO THE HUMANE CARE AND TREATMENT OF STRAY CATS AND KITTENS.
