Midwest Rescue of Illinois

Hoffman Estates, Illinois

Cause Description:
Midwest Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) not-for- profit organization. We are licensed by the State of Illinois Department of Agriculture and are board run. Our mission is to facilitate the rescue and adoption of homeless dogs, and to place adoptable dogs into solid, stable homes. Our goal is to reduce cruelty to these dogs by educating the public. We are committed to reducing the number of homeless, relinquished, abandoned and needlessly destroyed dogs. We do this through a small network of passionate volunteers. These remarkable people provide foster homes for our four- legged “clients”, make sure dogs receive obedience training, work our adoption days, and conduct careful home checks. All while working tirelessly to dispel the pervasive myths surrounding pit bulls!
