Cause Description:
The SEGO (WE CARE) foundation's mission is to increase the knowledge and awareness of gynecologic cancers: ovarian, cervical, endometrial, vulvar and others. The foundation will achieve this goal by focusing on the medical community of physicians, medical oncologists (gynecology and obstetrics, internal medicine and gastroenterologist) physician assistants, nurse practitioners and nurses. The medical community will be given comprehensive and updated information regarding new developments for screening and treatment of gynecologic cancers. Community awareness will include participation in health fairs, symposiums national and local events that will provide a venue to include gynecologic oncology awareness programs.
