Cause Description:
An indoor guard utilizes the flags, rifles, sabres and dance traditionally associated with marching bands and drum corps and puts them in an indoor setting. This activity combines the beauty and pageantry of dance, the drama of theater, and the precision of marching band into one production. The ensemble performs to recorded music on a gymnasium floor and visually interprets the music in order to entertain the audience. The performers strive for perfection devoting several hours a week towards the goal of putting a quality program in front of the audience. Brunswick will be competing as a part of the Keystone Indoor Drill Association (KIDA) in the bronze (or novice) division.
