Cause Description:
JCT's mission is to educate students who synthesize Jewish values and a profession in their lives; build Israel's high-tech industries; produce leaders committed to Israel, Jewish Life, the Jewish People and Tikun Olam. The college was founded in 1969 by the late Professor Zeev Lev (William Low) and has since grown into a highly regarded institution that specializes in high-tech engineering, industrial management and life and health sciences. JCT has an exceptional local reputation for its unique electro-optics faculty. The institution is fully accredited by the Council for Higher Education in Israel, the main authority overseeing Israel's academic institutions. Total current enrollment is about 2200 students with a faculty of over 150 professors, instructors and research scientists. The College combines a full curriculum of Torah study with a highly rated undergraduate program. Engineering programs at the mens campus at Machon Lev and the womens campus at Machon Tal have been rated the top undergraduate engineering school in Israel.
