Homeless Veterans Fund

undeliverable, Florida

Cause Description:
Homeless Veterans Fund is dedicated to helping the 500,000 homeless veterans in the United States of America. Many charities are in the business of giving handouts - suchs as a free meal or warm place to spend the night. Their intentions are good, but their approach is off. They are only providing a temporary solution to a permanent problem. At the Homeless Veterans Fund, we desire to help each homeless veteran get off the street and become a functioning member of society not only by providing food and shelter, but also by providing education, job training, and rehabilitation services. After all, the ancient saying says, "If you give a man a fish you feed him for a day. If you teach a man to fish you feed him for a lifetime."
