Cause Description:
TCRS provides serveral hotline services to help people. They include Helpline24 (24-hr crisis intervention/ suicide prevention/ counseling & referrals; 850-224-6333), Family Health Line (prenatal & parenting counseling, information & statewide referrals; 800-451-2229), FL HIV/AIDS Hotline (counseling & statewide referrals; 800-352-2437), Connection (audio library for teens; 850-425-8336), PhoneFriend (after school hotline support for children & youth; 850-222-1141), and we produce a Community Resource Directory of human service information for Tallahassee & neighboring counties. Many TCRS counselors are trained volunteers, who are very dedicated and committed to helping others. Training classes are offered three times per year. We publish a Civic Groups, Clubs, and Associations Directory. Electronic directories are available. TCRS receives United Way funding and other donations.
