Community Access Ticket Service (CATS) collaborates with Northern California social-service agencies in providing disadvantaged individuals opportunities to experience cultural events for purposes of encouragement, entertainment, education, respite and life-skills training. CATS collaborates with cultural entities to present their product to under-served audiences whereby furthering that entitys audience development plan. Started in July 2004, CATS today partners with 340 social service agencies and over 100 cultural entities and since that time, has provided tickets to over 100,000 disadvantaged individuals.
