Cause Description:

On October 21, 2007 I'll tackle a 13.1-miles walk on the streets of San Francisco to raise fund for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in memory of my mom.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to support research for leukemia, lymphoma, and other blood disorders, and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Through the Team in Training (TNT) program, 407 participants in the Northern New Jersey chapter raised over $1.9 million for the Society in 2006.

Knowing that someone new is diagnosed with blood cancer every five minutes, and someone dies every nine minutes, the need for supporting the Society to find a cure is critical. I know I cannot do this alone. I'll need the coaches at TNT to train me for this endurance event in the next few months, and I'll need your prayer and financial support as well. I appreciate whatever amount you can give. Every dollar you contribute will help bring one step closer to a cure. Please pass this on to anyone you think would like to contribute to this great cause.
