Cause Description:
Houston Labrador Retriever Rescues (HLRR) Mission is to assist with re-homing abandoned, neglected and abused Labradors in the Houston area. Our main goal is to work with local animal shelters and provide some relief by evaluating and rescuing purebred Labradors that have been abandoned by their owners or were found wondering the local streets untagged. We advocate the importance of spaying and neutering to help stop the epidemic of pet overpopulation as well as providing education to current and future pet owners on responsible lifetime pet ownership, tips on behavior issues, training tips, and general information on the Labrador breed, characterists and temperament.
