Cause Description:
The Society's purpose is the prevention of cruelty to animals, the reduction in the overpopulation of animals, and the extension of humane education. The Society became a limited admission shelter in February 2003. As a limited admission shelter the goal is to keep or foster all animals, that we choose to admit, until the animal can be placed in a responsible and loving home. Animals are euthanized only if they are found to be dangerous, distressed, diseased, or injured after admission. We are an nonprofit organization that does not receive any funding or other support from any governmental agencies.
