Miniature Schnauzer Rescue of North Texas

Cause Description:
a network of volunteers dedicated to rescuing abandoned, abused, neglected and unwanted Miniature Schnauzers&  MSRNT Mission Statement Every year, dozens of Miniature Schnauzers end up in animal shelters  some are strays, some have been surrendered by their owners. Many of these Schnauzers are scared, confused and some are even suffering from injuries or illness. In some cases, some of these dogs are close to being euthanized. Miniature Schnauzer Rescue of North Texas (MSRNT) monitors these shelters, looking for Schnauzers in need of new and loving forever homes. In addition, we accept Schnauzers whose owners can no longer keep them because of financial hardship, the death of a loved one or any other reason. MSRNTs rescue operations When a Miniature Schnauzer is rescued by MSRNT, we become responsible for the dog until it is adopted. We assess each Schnauzer and work with the dog, according to its needs, including: " A complete physical exam by a licensed veterinarian.  All vaccinations, including rabies, are brought up to date  Dogs are checked for parasites, including heartworm  All necessary dental treatment is provided  Any illnesses or medical problems are treated " During foster care, we provide monthly heartworm, flea prevention and any necessary medications, and the foster volunteers evaluate our schnauzers for behavior and social traits, thus providing a proper match when placing them in a forever home.
