Mental Health Resource Center - Stepping Stones Program: We are a non-profit organization providing behavioral health services for people with severe and persistent mental illness. We provide activities and groups that are psycho-educational and focus on such topics as self-esteem, life skills, medication management, communication skills, vocational skills, stress and anger management. Our objective is to improve the quality of life for our consumers by helping them to understand and reduce symptoms of their illness, develop coping skills, improve communication skills that help them handle interpersonal relationships and improve overall functioning. We strive to keep our consumers well integrated in the community and to reduce chance of rehospitalization.
