Cause Description:
For nearly 30 years, Strategies for Change has provided substance abuse treatment and prevention services. Initially we pioneered specialized services to treat women and have since expanded to provide services to their families, youth, and people in the criminal justice system Meeting the unique needs of women and families remains a primary focus. Continuing to respond to the needs of all our clients, with funding from The California Endowment,we now provide co-occurring disorders enhanced treatment services. Today, we are the largest county-funded outpatient substance abuse treatment provider in the Sacramento area serving more than 800 families per year.
