Cause Description:
Pazzaz Inc. is a nonprofit organizatin dedicated to improving the future of our youth through customized academic and self-development programs designed to promote personal achievement and self-determination. Everyday at Pazzaz, we provide an after-school learning environment that extends beyond tutoring and homework assistance. We teach our students to believe in themselves. Sometimes both the student and parents need to believe in the child's capabilities. By teaching students to believe that they can succeed, they develop a love for life-long learning--- resulting in responsible, educated, and self-sufficient adults. Because of Pazzaz, we are proud that 85% of our students who were previously failing class subjects or their grade increase their academics by one or more letter grades. Of which, approximately 15% become first time honor roll students.
