Cause Description:
The Performance Arts Foundation Inc. was formed in 1998 to provide opportunities for young adults to perform in highly competitive performing arts activities. The initial activity offered by PAFI was the winter guard, with its inaugural season in 1999 and continuing to this day. The winter percussion ensemble followed two years later in 2001 and is currently undergoing reorganization. Additionally, the goals of PAFI include providing scholarships for youth in the arts, to promote arts education by supporting and assisting area teachers, and to establish pageantry arts organization in the region. Membership in the Performance Arts Foundation Inc. is open to any individual, business, or corporation interested in supporting the performing pageantry arts for youth. All contributions made to PAFI are tax deductible.
