Cause Description:
The American Policy Foundation (APF), located in suburban Washington D.C., is a privately funded, non-profit educational foundation dedicated to the promotion of locally controlled education systems that focus on the use of solid, basic academic knowledge. APF promotes a free enterprise market system and limited government regulations over commerce and individuals. Throughout the year, the American Policy Foundation publishes several journals including "Self-Evident", APF's monthly newsletter. APF also sponsors a "Student School for Philosophy and Economics" for high school and college students. The purpose of the school is to provide an alternative to the collectivist approach students may receive from public schools and to build a strong economic and philosophical foundation for their future.
