The Colonie Youth Center, Inc. (CYC) is a private not-for-profit 501c3 organization whose mission is to provide children and their families with programs and services designed to enhance the quality of their lives with an overall focus on achieving personal wellness. CYC offers a wide range of opportunities in the areas of sports, fitness, recreation, low cost counseling services, affordable school age child care, and summer camp programs. Since 1965 CYC has dedicated its efforts to offer programs that promote the health, social, education, and character development of youth and their families. With - the opening of our Rudy A. Ciccotti Family Recreation Center and its 9,000 members; nearly 1,000 children participating at one of our 14 CYC school age child care and 8 summer day camp locations; our 9 mental health staff meeting student needs at 9 schools and 3 licensed providers completing 1,500 office child and family counseling sessions in our offices at no cost; and many programs offering dozens of recreation and sports opportunities, we serve over 20,000 children, families and individuals annually. CYC relies in part on generous donations from individuals and businesses and we thank you for your support.
