Cause Description:
The Homeland Security Council of Texas provides free and low-cost training to volunteer fire and EMS responders over a 10-county area around Austin, Texas. Instructors are qualified by various organizations, including the US Dept of Homeland Security, to teach courses ranging from 1 hour to 24 hours in length. We are a State of Texas non-profit corporation. Our staff instructors volunteer their time, so all money received is used toward the purchase of training equipment and materials.
