Child & Family Institute is dedicated to providing professional and compassionate counseling, and supportive services to facilitate healthy change, growth, and healing for a diverse population of children and families throughout the Sacramento region. Child & Family Institute offers counseling and support to promote healthy child social skills and positive family relationships using expressive arts and therapy on an individual, family and group level; counseling and support for children and families living in homeless shelters or transitional housing sites; and school-based counseling for at-risk students throughout local school districts teaching skills such as self-control, substance abuse prevention and anger management skills.
