Community Animal Rescue & Adoption (CARA) is Mississippi's largest "no-kill" animal shelter. Our goals are: 1) to place adoptable animals into loving homes 2) promote spay/neuter programs and 3) educate the public on responsible pet ownership. We currently care for 300 dogs, 130 cats, 2 rabbits and 1 bird.
