Cause Description:
Primary mission is residential care for children from troubled homes. For girls 10-17 years of age, the Home offers a safe, nurturing environment with a family-like atmosphere in 3 residences accommodating up to 8 girls each.Tutoring, counseling, and other specialized services are provided as needed, and training in independent livings skills is emphazized. Usual length of stay is 6 months or more. The Shelter provides up to 60 days of care for boys and girls aged 0-17 while plans are made for their futures. Psychological, educational, dental and vision assessments are arranged as requested, and tutoring, counseling, etc. are available if needed.
