The Riot! is a quarterly e-newsletter that is designed with and for people with developmental disabilities. The Riot! is NOT your typical policy rag. It is a lively eight pages of information and fun. Our goal is to be insightful, but also to incite action and discussion among people with disabilities and others. We tackle important disability issues, encouraging approaches that promote integration and self-determination. Every issue focuses on a timely topical theme. We also cover common life topics, such as dating, health and everyday fun. We want to bring a smile to your face! The Riot! is produced by the Self-Advocate Leadership Network at the Human Services Research Institute.
