Cause Description:
A long-awaited dream of starting a no-kill animal shelter in the Hazleton area is becoming a reality. We are currently raising money for the construction of the new Tami K No Kill Animal Shelter in West Hazleton. The Tami K Shelter will be the first of its kind in the area to find loving homes or provide a permanent residence for abused, neglected, unwanted and abandoned animals without euthanasia to control the pet population. The goal is to provide a clean, open environment where animals can interact with one another. This promotes socialization and helps with home integration once an animal gets adopted, especially if there are already other pets in the home.
