First Congregational Church in Salem, Oregon is a Just Peace and Open and Affirming Congregation of the United Church of Christ. This church welcomes everyone without regard to race, gender, age, sexual orientation, ethnicity, economic class, marital status, or physical/mental abilities and encourages all to share in the life and leadership of this congregation. Our Peace and Justice Committee is organizing a lending library. Donations to this fund will allow us to purchase books, videos, and dvds centered around peace and justice themes for children, youth and adults to borrow.
