Cause Description:
Established in 1985, the Women?s Crisis and Family Outreach Center is the only comprehensive domestic violence agency serving Douglas, Elbert and Lincoln Counties as well as the eastern plains of Colorado. Services include a 24-hour crisis line, emergency shelter, non-residential therapy for women and children, school-based violence prevention and education services, and legal advocacy. The WCFOC also provides a variety of community education and resource programs. The Women?s Crisis and Family Outreach Center is dedicated to reducing domestic violence and family conflict through advocacy, empowerment prevention and intervention services.
