Centered Riding, Inc. is a non-profit educational body offering new ways to express the classical principles of horseback riding. It offers a new dimension to the world of equestrian arts through body awareness. Centered Riding Techniques encourage riders to discover an inner balance, serenity and control that allow for greater freedom, suppleness and coordination. These immediately allow the horse to respond with increased balance, poise and forward motion. Becoming one, horse and rider enjoy common communication and greater ease of movement. To fulfill its mission, Centered Riding, Inc. has established an instructor training program, maintains a website directory of teachers and supporting members, provides educational publications and offers an Annual International Symposium. Centered Riding Clinics are available worldwide.
