Greys Matter Adoption is an organization formed to assist in finding homes for retired racing Greyhound dogs. Once these animals are no longer needed for racing or for breeding, they are available to become companion animals. Greys Matter Adoption takes these retired race dogs from a number of racing tracks and industry owners, completes all of their veterinary needs (spay/neuter, vaccinations, etc.) and then works to match hounds to responsible homes. Greys Matter Adoption adopts retired racing Greyhound into the middle Tennessee area around Nashville, Tennessee as well as Southern and Western Kentucky from time to time.
