Cause Description:
As a non-profit, all-volunteer rescue group, BARC (Beagles of Arizona Rescue Club) helps homeless beagles and beagle-mixes find forever homes. BARC works to place its dogs in permanent loving homes based upon their needs. BARC's goals include education about the breed, providing foster homes and veterinary care, supporting volunteers in their rescue efforts, and working with shelters and humane societies to reduce euthanasia of healthy animals. BARC works with other rescue organizations to support a non-kill environment and spay/neuter efforts in local communities.
