Cause Description:
21st Century Leaders, operated under the charter of Georgia Business Forum, Inc., is a non-profit organization that collaborates with business and education leaders to develop, inspire and nurture students with leadership potential to make a positive impact on their schools, communities and future places of work. The mission of 21st Century Leaders is to increase the number, skills and diversity of Georgia’s future leaders by delivering world-class business leadership training to Georgia high school students with high leadership aptitude who are from diverse backgrounds. Schools and community organizations select students on the basis of their leadership potential rather than current leadership position. 21st Century Leaders currently hail over 80 Georgia high schools; 65% are minority students, 55% are from outside the Atlanta area, 60% are female and 40% are at-risk youth - truly a picture of the diversity that is Georgia.
