WriteGirl is a creative writing and mentoring nonprofit in Los Angeles that pairs professional women writers with at-risk teen girls for one-on-one mentoring, workshops and publications to empower them through creativing writing and communication skills. WriteGirl is proud to announce a 100% success rate in getting girls to not only graduate from high school, but also enroll in college! At the end of each season WriteGirl publishes an annual anthology to showcase the creative poetry, essays, scenes, lyrics and stories from the girls and their mentors. WriteGirl anthologies have won a total of 27 national and international book awards and are available on amazon.com Help support our cause of helping girls write their ways to more positive futures.
