Cancer Patient Services' mission is to reduce the burden of cancer on patients and their families who work or reside in Hancock County (Ohio), by providing them with physical (medical equipment or medical supplies), emotional (Support Groups, referrals to local mental health professionals, and Supportive Staff & Volunteers) and financial assistance (Reimbursement for Chemotherapy, Cancer-related medications, and travel to and from cancer treatments & Financial assistance with specialty items such as prosthetic devices, wigs, head coverings & ostomy supplies) as well as educational resources (Lending library, educational materials & brochures, and participation in area health fairs, seminars and screenings all year long, in cooperation with community health organizations).
