It is a permanent large parrot bird sanctuary where entrusted parrots ,mostly cockatoos, eclectus and other large parrots that are abandoned by owners or transfered to the Napoleon Rescue Facility because they cannot take care of their parrots anymore.The "Refuge Chez Napoleon" is incorporated as a non-profit company under Part 3 of The Quebec Company Law ,Quebec,Canada Any cheques or donations are to be made to LE REFUGE CHEZ NAPOLÉON INC. which is the exact name of the non-profit rescue facility registered with the Quebec authorities.
