Cause Description:
Children's Oncology Services, Inc. operates the One Step At A Time Programs for children with cancer and leukemia. The One Step At A Time programs are summer and winter camps and other therapeutic recreation programs for children & adolescents with cancer and leukemia. Children participate regardless of the stage of their treatment. All programs are operated by volunteers and include a full-time medical component so that parents can be assured that their children are well-cared for during participation in One Step programs. No child has ever been turned away because of the family's inability to pay a modest tuition. Scholarships are available for all programs.
